Cancellation Policy

At McQuoid Outdoors and Lodging, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness and maintain availability for all clients, we kindly ask that all guests review and agree to the following cancellation terms when booking.

 

Deposit Requirement

A 50% deposit of the total trip cost is required to secure and hold your selected dates.
Dates cannot be reserved until this deposit is received. All bookings remain open and available to others until the deposit is paid in full.

 

30-Day Cancellation Window

We have a 30-day cancellation policy for all reservations.

• If you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled trip, your deposit is fully refundable, minus any applicable booking fees.
   

• If you cancel within 30 days of your reserved date(s) and we are unable to rebook those same dates, your deposit will be forfeited.
   

• If you cancel within 30 days of your reserved date(s) and we ARE able to rebook the dates, you will receive a refund of your deposit minus the booking fee.
   

Booking Fee

A small booking fee will be retained on all refundable cancellations. This fee covers administrative costs associated with scheduling, processing, and securing your trip. (Amount may be specified or discussed at booking.)

 

Weather & Safety

Trips impacted by unsafe weather conditions or other situations that make guiding impossible will be rescheduled when possible. If rescheduling cannot occur, deposits may be transferred to a future date.

 

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive for your scheduled trip without prior communication will result in the full forfeiture of your deposit.

 

Rescheduling

Rescheduling may be available depending on guide availability. All reschedule requests within the 30-day window are treated as cancellations unless the dates are successfully rebooked.
